Kennedy, Kimmelman Named Women's Lax All-Americans by IWLCA

University of Mary Washington women's lacrosse freshmen CATHERINE KENNEDY (Baltimore, Md./Baltimore Lutheran) and ALLIE KIMMELMAN (Burke, Va./Robinson) were named as All-Americans by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association on Wednesday. The duo become the first freshmen All-Americans in program history.
Kennedy, named to the second team, scored 77 goals and 12 assists for the Eagles with a team-high 89 points. She has also been named All-American by womenslacrosse.com, to the national All-Freshman Team, first team all-region, and first team all-conference.
Kimmelman tallied 43 goals and 43 assists for 86 points, and gained third team All-America honors. She also was named to the womenslacrosse.com All-Freshman Team, first team all-region, and first team all-conference.
