UMW's Rowell, Hull Named to All-CAC Softball Team

University of Mary Washington senior softball players Kirsten Rowell (Alexandria, Va./Mount Vernon) and Cathy Hull (Alexandria, Va./Mount Vernon) have been named to the All-Capital Athletic Conference Softball Team for 2009, as was released today.
Rowell, a three-time all-CAC selection, had her greatest season in 2009, tying the school record for season wins with 19, and shattering the school season records for strikeouts (306) and earned run average (1.14). She ends her career as the all-time leader at UMW in career wins (51), apperances (98), strikeouts (597), and ERA (1.52).
Hull is the Eagles' all-time leader in hits (184), doubles (44), runs (133), and RBI (85). She gains all-conference honors for the second straight season.
