UMW Indoor Track Competes at Mason Dixon Championships

The University of Mary Washington men's and women's indoor track & field teams competed at the Mason Dixon Championships in Newport News, Va. on Saturday, with the men placing fourth and the women taking sixth place.
For the women,
Lynette Humphries (Staunton, Va., Riverheads),
Michelle Sutherland (Norfolk, Va., Norfolk Academy),
Stacy Keser (Frederick, Md., Middletown), and
Kristy Witek (Fairfax, Va., Chantilly) finished second in the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 4:15.
Chelsea LeHew (Williamsburg, Va., Lafayette) took third in the pole vault.
The men saw
Jason Driscoll (Haymarket, Va., Battlefield) finish first in the mile, at 4:24, and
Matt Cash (Fredericksburg, Va., Stafford) take second in the 800 meters at 1:56:86.
Matt Geller (Huntington, N.Y., Harborfields) took second in the weight throw with an NCAA provisional qualifying toss of 54 feet, 10.25 inches The men's distance medley relay finished second.
