Mid Atlantic Rowing Conference Recognizes All-Conference Team

The Mid Atlantic Rowing Conference announced its all-conference teams following the conference championships last weekend. UMW saw six athletes named to the all-conference teams, two named to the academic honor roll, and head coach Richard Wilson was named women's co-Coach of the Year.
From the women's varsity, Karolyn Milton and Stephanie Lefferts were honored with all-conference accolades, as was novice Morgan dePaulo. For the men, Kelley Wheaton and Patrick Wood were named from the varsity boats, while Kevin Tyler was honored as a novice.
Elisabeth Hancock and Ashley Leake were honored on the academic honor roll, signifying a 3.5 GPA and participation in the conference championships.
Wilson shared women's coach of the year honors with Kelly Harris of Marietta College. UMW's women won the title for the second straight year.
