UMW Riding Team Takes 2nd at UMW Show

The University of Mary Washington riding team saw five first place finishes in taking second place at the UMW Show hosted at Hazelwild Farm on Saturday.

Winners included Haley Cook in open on the flat; Emilia Sanchez at intermediate on the flat; Kathleen Wallace at novice over fences; Alyssa Smallridge at beginning walk-trot-canter; and Elicia Franchini at walk-trot.

The team will host another show at Hazlewild on Sunday.
