The University of Mary Washington field hockey team, on the strength of its 4-0 record and two wins over nationally-ranked opponents, checks in at 12th in the nation in the first Kookaburra/NFHCA national poll, released Tuesday. The Eagles are 10th in the nation according to SynapseSports (womensfieldhockey.com).
The Eagles return to action on Wednesday when they visit Roanoke College at 4:30 p.m.
