UMW Field Hockey Receives Votes in NFHCA Preseason Poll
Fresh off a 15-5 season a year ago, the University of Mary Washington field hockey team opens the 2012 season receiving votes in the NFHCA national preseason poll. The Eagles, who lost just three seniors to graduation, will face five teams ranked in the preseason poll during the season. UMW will open the year at #16 Lebanon Valley College, and will also face #7 Lynchburg College, #4 Salisbury University, #11 Catholic University, and #17 Christopher Newport University.
The Eagles will visit #16 Lebanon Valley on Saturday, September 1 at 1:00 pm.
