    Six UMW Student-Athletes Named to VaSID Academic All-State Squad The Virginia Sports Information Directors announced its Academic All-State team on Tuesday and a total of 221 student-athletes, representing 37 schools in the state were recognized. The University of Mary Washington was represented by Will Apperson, Liz Green, Claire Harrington, David Heller, Karissa Herrick, and Alex Ritter.

    UMW Men's Soccer Alum Tommy DiNuzzo '09 Named Head Soccer Coach at Maine-Farmington Tommy DiNuzzo, an assistant coach for two of Division III’s elite men’s soccer coaches, has been named the new head men’s soccer coach at the University of Maine at Farmington. UMaine-Farmington athletics director Julie Davis announced DiNuzzo’s hiring Monday.
