Former All-American C.J. Williams returns to the men’s tennis program at assistant coach for the 2014-15 season. Williams, a 2013 graduate of Kenyon College, played collegiately at Division One VCU before trasferring to Kenyon, where he led the team to a number one ranking in the nation, and won the last match on at the 2012 NCAA Championships, and also gained All-America honors in doubles.
He graduated from Kenyon cum laude, and was an NCAA and ITA Academic All-American in each of his collegiate seasons. Among his other highlights were All-NCAC (North Coast Athletic Conference) First Team Doubles in 2011 and 2013, ITA Central Region Player to Watch, 2012; ITA Central Region Doubles Semifinalist, 2012, and clinched the team’s ITA National Indoor title in 2013.
Williams is single and lives in Richmond.
