The University of Mary Washington softball team dropped a pair of games at Disney's Wide World of Sports on Sunday, falling to Capital University, 1-0, before falling to Hiram College, 18-4.
In the opener, Elizabeth Crowe (Alexandria, Va., West Potomac) allowed one run while striking out eight and walking just two, and also had a pair of hits for the Eagles.
In the Eagles' second game, Kerry Busby (Kennet, Pa., Kennett) had one hit and a run scored, as did Katherine Preseren (Roanoke, Va., Hidden Valley) and Koah Chitty (Stafford, Va., Brooke Point).
The Eagles will continue in Florida on Monday.
