Jake Lewing comes to the University of Mary Washington as an assistant coach for the 2011-12 season. He brings with him a wealth of NCAA Division III excellence as a swimmer, as he led Denison University to the 2011 NCAA Division III national championship, breaking Kenyon College's 30-year stranglehold on the title.

A four-year NCAA Championships qualifier, Lewing was a 12-time All-American, and served as a team captain on last year's squad. Described by his college coach as one of the hardest workers he has ever coached, Jake is a breaststroke and IM specialist. He has coached a summer club team - Brookside - in his hometown of Yardly, Pa. He has two sisters; Ginna (asst soccer coach at Delaware) and Ally.
