Seniors Katie Mastropaolo and Keller Torrey were named to first team all-region honors by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association on Tuesday. Juniors Megan Gersbeck and Jenna Petrucelli were named to the second team.
Mastropaolo, who was also named first team all-conference this spring, ranked among national leaders with 71 ground balls and 56 caused turnovers. Torrey led the Eagles in scoring with 76 points, on 44 goals and 32 assists. She, to, has already been named first team all-conference this season.
Gersbeck gained second team honors at the midfield, scoring 37 points on 28 goals and nine assists, and added 34 ground balls. Petrucelli was also named to the second team, scoring 51 points on a team high 47 goals with four assists after missing several games with injury. She also collected a team-high 50 draw controls.
