Lizzie Wright will enter her second season as an assistant with the Eagles.
Following her collegiate career, Wright spent two years coaching lacrosse in England at St. Alban’s High School for Girls. Under Wright’s direction, the team finished in the top 16 in the nation.
Wright was a standout student-athlete at Division I Binghamton University, as a four year starter in the midfield and team captain in her senior season. In 2009, Wright was selected to play for the USA Athletes International Lacrosse team. During that time, she traveled to England and played against teams such as England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.
Moore on Wright, “Lizzie’s endless energy, enthusiasm and passion for the sport is a perfect fit for our program. Her tactical understanding of the game and dedication to being a master teacher will help our athletes to becoming their very best.”
Wright graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and is working toward her master’s degree in Education at the University of Mary Washington.
She has also worked a series of high-level summer camps in the past few years and is a certified umpire through US lacrosse.
