York junior Maxine Herman was named the CAC Offensive Player of the Week after tallying four goals and both game-winning scores in a 2-0 week for the Spartans. Herman opened the week with a hat trick to propel the Spartans past Wesley, 5-1. In a crucial 1-0 win over Salisbury on Saturday, Herman scored the game's only goal in the 60th minute. She has six goals and one assist on the season.

Mary Washington senior goalkeeper Sara Armor was selected as the CAC Defensive Player of the Week after turning in a pair of shutouts last week to help the Eagles clinch a CAC playoff berth. Armor posted a clean sheet with 10 saves in a scoreless tie with St. Mary's and Wednesday, and followed that up with another shutout in a 7-0 win over Wesley on Saturday.

With just one game remaining in the conference regular season, CNU (7-0-1), St. Mary's (6-1-1), Frostburg State (6-2), and Mary Washington (5-2-1) have solidified spots in the six-team tournament field, while York (4-4), Salisbury (3-4-1), and Penn State Harrisburg (3-5) are in the mix for the final two postseason bids ... St. Mary's, Frostburg State, and Mary Washington have at least secured a first-round home game, with all three in the hunt for the No. 2 seed and a first-round bye.
