Ryan Zinkhan joins the UMW women's soccer program as an assistant for the 2017 season. Zinkhan, who owns the career record for games played at the University of Virginia, brings a wealth of high level experience and knowledge to the program.
A 2014 graduate at Virginia, Zinkhan has served as the Youth Development Director and General Manager for Fredericksburg Football Club, and served as a staff coach and personal trainer for the Grover Gibson Soccer Foundation. While playing for four years at UVA, he played for RVA FC in the National Premier Soccer League, winning the 2013 national championship.
A 2011 graduate of nearby Riverbend High School, Zinkhan represented Virginia as the state Gatorade Player of the Year in 2010, and was an All-Metro selection in 2009. He has climbed to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, is recently married, and lives in Fredericksburg.
