#13 UMW Women's Tennis Falls to #2 Emory, 8-1

The 13th ranked University of Mary Washington women's tennis team dropped an 8-1 decision to second ranked Emory University on Friday at the UMW Indoor Center as part of the Fab Five Tournament at UMW. The loss is UMW's second in as many days to top-five ranked opponents, and drops their record to 6-6 overall.

The Eagles gained their point at one doubles, where Katie Schafer and Courtney Goimarac won, 8-4. In other action, Williams edged Chicago, 5-4, and Washington & Lee defeated Skidmore, 7-2.
