#21 Eagles Breeze Past Frostburg State, 9-0, on Friday

Fredericksburg, Va.-- The #21 Eagles took care of business, getting past the Bobcats 9-0 on Friday. UMW dropped just three games all day to ease to the victory. UMW is now 4-3, 1-0 CAC on the year.

The Eagles got out of the gate, winning all three doubles matches. Alex Ritter and Mackenzie Smith picked up an 8-0 win at two doubles, while Lindsay Raulston/Shelby Harris, and Alina Suyama/Ashley Barrow each won 8-1.

Five of the six singles matches were won 6-0, 6-0 by Eagles players. Those winners include Raulston at one singles, Harris at two, Smith at four, Chrissy Gaul at five, and Barrow at six. Alex Ritter was a 6-1, 6-0 vctor at three singles.

The Eagles return to action tomorrow, March 15th when they travel to Washington & Lee (10:00 a.m.) and Southern Virginia (4:00 p.m.).
