Megan Woodard begins her second season as graduate
assistant coach for the women’s volleyball program and the
assistant strength and conditioning coach for the Eagles.
A native of St. Leonard, Md., Woodard comes to Mary Washington from Hiram College, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, while becoming a four-year letter-winner and starting right-side hitter for the Terriers volleyball team.
She was named second team All North Coast Athletic Conference honors and helped lead her team to an NCAA tournament run in 2011.
Woodard has spent time as an assistant club coach for Coastal Carolina University and Academy Volleyball Cleveland, as well as working several collegiate summer camps.
She will be working towards her master’s in business while at Mary Washington.
