UMW Names Matt Troy as Head Volleyball Coach

The University of Mary Washington has hired Matt Troy as its new head volleyball coach, according to Athletic Director Ken Tyler. Troy has been the head coach at Johns Hopkins University for the past three years, leading the Blue Jays to a 77-21 overall record with two NCAA Tournament appearances.

UMW Volleyball Falls at Salisbury in CAC Semifinals

The University of Mary Washington volleyball team saw its five-match win streak snapped and the successful volleyball coaching career of Dee Conway come to a close with a 3-0 loss at Salisbury University on Friday night in the Capital Athletic Conference semifinals. UMW Volleyball Sweeps Frostburg in CAC Tourney First Round

Junior Kaitlynn Wickersham led a balanced attack with 10 kills and seven digs as the University of Mary Washington volleyball team defeated Frostburg State University in three sets on Thursday night in the first round of the Capital Athletic Conference Tournament at the Anderson Center. The Eagles will advance to the CAC Semifinals on Friday night at Salisbury University.
