2001 Women's Lacrosse Team

The 2001 women’s lacrosse team was a study in excellence and perseverance, exacting revenge after two earlier defeats to Salisbury University to down the Sea Gulls in Salisbury to advance to the program’s first NCAA Final Four. Led by All-Americans Jenni Foy, Kate Weller, and Bridget Geiman, the Eagles advanced to the national semifinals against Middlebury College at Johns Hopkins University. Eight players on the team would become All-Americans during their careers, which kick started the most successful era in program history.
