Mary Washington senior Jeffrey Leckrone was tabbed as the CAC Athlete of the Week for the second time this year after registering a pool record and NCAA B Cut time in the 200 breaststroke at the Gettysburg Invitational. Leckrone raced to a time of 2:01.45 in the 200 breastroke, taking first place in the event. His time ranks fifth in Division III and set a Gettysburg pool record. He also finished second in the 100 breaststroke at 56.74. His 200 time ranks second in the CAC and 29th nationally.

NOTES AROUND THE CONFERENCE
Five CAC teams competed last week, while Frostburg State was idle ... Marymount compete at the Yellow Jacket Invitational at Randolph-Macon. Sophomore Zachary Payne notched a time of 1:47.50 in the 200 freestyle to remain in sixth place in program history. He followed that up by placing fifth in the 100 backstroke at 53.42 to move into third-place all-time in MU history. His final Top-10 time came in the 200 butterfly, posting a time of 1:59.49 to take over the fifth position in the Marymount record books ... St. Mary's freshman Andrew Scott broke two school records last week in the 1,650 freestyle and 500 freestyle. He broke the oldest-standing St. Mary's record (11 years) in the 1,650 freestyle, finishing in 16:39.14 to surpass the old record of 16;40.43 set by Joey Quase '09 on Feb. 12, 2006. He also took first place in the 500 freestyle with a school-record mark of 4:42.77 ... Salisbury junior Richard Baker recorded three individual first-place finishes on Saturday against Widener in the 100-meter backstroke (1:02.12), 200-meter backstroke (2:17.17), and 200-meter individual medley (2:21.26). He was also a member of the 200-meter medley relay team that finished first with a time of 1:52.51. Baker's contributions led to 38 points on the afternoon ... York freshman Keven Stahl won three events at the two-day Washington & Lee Invitational this weekend. Stahl led the Spartans to a second-place team finish in the six-team field. He won the 500 freestyle, the 200 breaststroke and the 200 freestyle. Stahl was also a part of the winning 800 free relay team and anchored the second-place relay teams in the 400 medley and 400 freestyle. Stahl now has 10 first place finishes to lead the Green and White in 2017-18. Stahl's 200 free time is now the top time in the CAC in the event while his 200 breaststroke time is the third best in the conference this year.
